Ready to Paint - Pine TV Cabinet Makeover Part 2

The pine television cabinet has now been fully stripped of all wax and paint and thoroughly cleaned. We removed the doors and all of the hardware to make it easier to paint.  The hinges have been scrubbed clean as we are going to re-use these. As the cupboard handles are going to be changed we haven't bothered to clean those up. The original handles are the Mexican pine type.

Next we sanded the top using a power sander, the one we use is a Feestool Rotex 90, as it has a powerful extractor. We are planning on staining and oiling the top so we have used 400 grit on this.

Here it is ready to paint!
