These are stencils that are cut directly from Marian’s (Miss Mustard Seed’s) brush strokes. The feathering of the bristles and inconsistencies were retained, so the designs actually look hand painted when used on a piece.
Named after Miss Mustard Seed’s niece, the Elizabeth stencil is a whimsical, swirly design. It is 10″ long and would look great on drawer fronts or a stenciled table runner.
Miss Mustard Seed’s Hand Painted Stencils are cut out of 10 mil reusable stencil material.
Hold your stencil in place using painter’s tape or stencil adhesive. For best results, use a stencil brush, roller-sponge, or spatula for a raised effect. When applying paint through a stencil always remember – less is best. After loading your paint, offload the excess onto a paper plate or paper towel. Clean your stencils after use with soap and water and a soft bristled brush if necessary. Do not discard packaging. After use, store the stencil in its package to maintain its shape and quality.
